Procedure (38-45 minutes)
-Ask them to talk about was in the listening and what they learnt about them in pairs. -Answer this question as a whole class.
-Ask them to work individually ,read the sentences and choose the correct verb form. -Ask an ICQ. *Are you working together or alone? -Ask them to work in pairs and compare their answers. FB: Show and check the answers with the whole class. -Ask some İCQs * Do we know the exact time here? * Which tense do we you use if there is a connection between the past and the present?
-Model three different form of 'have' and drill it with the whole class. -Ask if it is weak or strong.
-Ask them to work in pairs and try to find out about Present Perfect Tense by answering the questions together. FB: -Check the answers as a whole class.
Ask them to read the text quickly in one minute ignoring the gaps. -Ask what is Toby's surprising achievement is. -Ask them to work in pairs and share their prediction with their partner. -Ask them to work individually and complete the story with the correct form of the verb. -Ask them to work in pairs and compare their answers with their partner.
