This time T will write the short answer forms and expect Ss do the same. If T has more time, she/he can use the following questions: - Do you travel so much? - Does you friend travel with you? - Do you go dancing with you friends?

First Test (diagnostic) (15-25 minutes) • To test learners' current knowledge of and ability to use the language and identify what the issues are.

Ss make questions in the present simple. There are 2 parts. Ss work in pair if it is needed (if they still hesitate to do the exercise in a proper way.)

Pairwork. Model the activiy briefly with a confident student. Then put the students into pairs to ask and answer the questions in exercise 1 about the man and woman in the recording.

Second Test (Controlled practice) (Freer practice) (5-10 minutes) • To provide controlled oral/written practice focused on using the language accurately. To test what learners have learnt from the teach stage. To provide freer oral/written practice and use the language productively. To test what learners have learnt from the teach stage.

Pairwork. Model the activity carefully with a student. Then put students into pairs to ask and answer the questions. -Extra practice- Write the following prompts on the board. Ask students to make questions from the prompts and then ask a partner. 1) you/play sports with your friends? 2) you/talk about personal things?
