Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

The teacher ask ss to open their books page 21 then look at the pictures on the top after that ask them to do the part (a) individualy. After doing the part (a) ask then to cheak their answers in pairs.

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

The teacher ask ss to look at part (c) then find the word in text and underline them while their doing that teacher writes them on the board. After that teacher teach the meaning of them by eliciting then drill the pronunciation of the words.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

The teacher makes ss 2 groups then ask them to look at photos and guess that which one relates to the topics share their ideas with each other in groups. After that one person from each groups tells the answers if any of them were wrong tell the true answer to them.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

The teacher ask ss to look at part (b) then do that in pair with this roll: there are 7 sentences one of them do the evens,the other one do the odds. After that cheak thier answers with each other while they're cheaking teacher monitor them if he hears any wrong answers tell the right answer to the class.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

The teacher asks ss to stand up then everyone ask one question from one person about one paragraph then writes his or her answer in a piece paper they should do that with all of classmates. The question is like the one that part (c) wants.
