in this lesson plan students should find souitable answers from reading qustions and learn some new worlds

Materials

Main Aims

  • To provide scan reading practice using a text about world records in the context of intersting things around the world

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide clarification of new world that is nessery in the context of worlds that need to know to cover questions

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-6 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

teacher put some picteurs on the board and give students 2min to think about the main point of those picturs

Pre-Reading (10-17 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

*teacher wants students to read whole reading indivisully and pay attention to highlight words and try to guess the meaning of it after understanding the real meaning of the words teacher gives some sentences that students should cover it by the words that they learnd (new words).then they check their answers with the next students (two by two).then teacher write keys on the board.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

teacher wants students to answer exercise b and explain some facts like this in their country

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

teacher ask students to do exercise c in groups then someone that is sure to his or hir answer:read the answers and say where is the answer locate

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

teacher ask aquestion about something that they achives to have some record on it and how someone can make records
