Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

At first I would ask a question about the meaning of the word "definition" and ask students to discuss and find the meaning of the word, then tell the class.

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

I would teach some new related words to the reading by eliciting those words. after they learned it I would ask some questions about the word to check their understanding of them.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

In order to prepare students for the reading I would ask that "where can you find the meaning of the new words?" and give them time to consult with each other then check their answers.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

At the beginning of this stage I would hand the paper to students then Ask them questions written in the paper about the reading then let them read the reading and find the answers then ask them to tell to the class.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

Ask students to do the task "e" on the paper by filling the blanks with the given words. Ask students to tell their ideas about this different kind of dictionary called devil's dictionary and share their ideas and correct their mistakes.exp: what is good or bad about this dictionary? what's the benefits of using this dictionary?
