In this lesson, the students are going to learn about usage of simple present in daily routine.i will start with a warm up about my daily plans in order to make student ready for the lesson . the lesson will start with picture show to present the context of the Family . this will be followed by Exposure ,highlighting and clarification to the grammatical aspect involved and 1controlled practice to reinforce the use of the target language.

Main Aims

  • To provide practice of the simple present tense in the context of Family

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide clarification of the simple present and correct as much as mistake that i find in students speake


Warmer/Lead-in (Warm up) (1-2 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will write the name of the days and explain my plan for a day or some actin that happen like twice a week

Exposure (7-9 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a situation

I will paste a photo to the board and try to introduce every one in the photo to students and tell them , what kind of plan do they have for the day and after drill and repeat by the students i will write them on the board to convey the written form

Highlighting (2-5 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

I will divide the students in four group in order to do this i will hand them some numbers and i will tell them to stand up and find some one who has same number like you now talk with your partner about your daily plan

Controlled Practice (7-9 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for production

I will give them correct instruction for a handout then i will ask them some CCQs and then i want them to do it individually after that check the answers with their partners at the end i will check answers if i saw some errors in the monitoring

Homework • To provaide a practice in home in order to understand better

I will tell them to ask their parent about their daily plans , write them and bring it to the class
