The lesson starts with a discussion about transportation. This is followed by creating groups where students have to discuss the matter and correcting the mistakes they've made during the conversation. Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

-The teacher puts some pictures on the wall before students come to the class then takes their books and asks them to stand up and look at the pictures on the wall. -The teacher asks them to think about the pictures and say their ideas.

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

-Creating groups and putting some written questions on the board to discuss and hear students ideas. -The teacher has CCQs for some words.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

-The teacher gave them back their books and asks to find the words written on the board in the text. -The teacher asks students about the words in the text. -The teacher asks the students to look at the task 2 in their books.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

-The teacher asks them to read a paragraph in pairs and ask each other some questions to solve anything obscure to them. -The teacher explains few words with eliciting.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

-The teacher makes groups then asks thrm to draw two lines under the page to write their opinions about why they shoud or shoud not keep the rickshaws? and ... -The teacher gives everyone a role in a game, for example someone is a taxi driver, someone is a passenger and ... -After all that the teacher corrects their errors.
