Procedure

Lead in (3-5 minutes) • To generate interest in the context

T asks SS if they are happy with their life. T asks SS if they are happy in your life.

Reading (8-10 minutes) • To practice reading for use of english

T hands over the HO. T asks SS to skim and scan the text. T asks SS what is this reading about.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

T highlights the grammar for SS T highlights use of english for SS on the WB.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify grammar so that learners know how to construct it

T shows grammar powerpoint in OHP T asks SS to pay attention to the structure T describes grammer to SS

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

T groups up SS to work in ther group. T asks SS to answer the question in the handout. T asks SS to read and practice the grammar instruction
