In this lesson,I’m going to get student to learn about bucket list and then I get them to write

Main Aims

  • To provide accuracy speaking practice in a discussion in the context of wishlist

Subsidiary Aims

  • To encourage students to listen for general understanding


Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To generate interest in the topic

T asks SS what is ther vision of death. T asks SS if they are interested to know their date of death

Prediction task (8-10 minutes) • To encourage SS to predict about content of the text

T asks SS what would they do if they would know when they will die. T asks SS to guess the topic

listening task (18-20 minutes) • To encourage SS to watch and listen for general understanding

T plays video on OHP T gets SS to watch and listen. T asks SS to discuss about the subject of the video that they have watched.

writing/speaking task (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

T asks SS to write their own bucketlist T asks SS to put their bucketlist on the wall. T asks SS to discuss which of the SS has the coolest bucketlist. T gives handout to SS T asks SS to answer the questions of the handout T asks SS to discuss the right answer in group work.
