Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Prepare blue tack Good morning, How is everyone today? Show pictures of actors. who is he? what famous movie did he act in? then stick on to the white board do same for each picture then ask how old is he? tell them the answers after they have all guessed. brad pitt 53, johnny depp 53 and Hugh Jackman 48 Ask SS questions about themselves "how old are you", "Do you think old people are wise?" and "what do you personally believe is considered old?"

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Write on WB: " What kind of characteristics do the elderly and teenagers have? Write on WB: elderly and Teenager Ask SS group question what is written on the WB (ex Teenager Stubborn, elderly impatient) Write the words on the left of WB (Vulnerable, self centered, narrow minded unenthusiastic and clumsy) ask students if they know the meaning one by one and write meaning Vulnerable: weak or easy to change his or her mind Self centered: Someone who only wants for himself Narrow minded: they have their mind on one way only Unenthusiastic: lack of desire for things they dont like doing Clumsy: someone who drops or spills things a lot Chest HO exercise "1a match adjectives in the table." ( 3 mins) "pair check and discuss your answers" ask students "what did your partner say about stubborn?" and "do you agree?" chest HO. Put Ss in pairs " discuss questions 1, 2 and 3. (3mins) ask Ss "what was your partners answer for question 1?" and so on
