Grammar (Comparatives)
Elementary A2 level

Description

In this lesson, Students learn about comparatives using "adj.+er (+than)" and "more+adj. (+than)". The lesson begins with learners talking in pairs about 5 pairs of pictures on the board. Then, they will be tested on whether they know how to form comparatives, or not (i.e. they will try to make 5 sentences related to the 5 pairs of pics, comparing the 2 pics in each pair). After that, they will choose the correct answers for each pair given to them on an HO. Clarification comes next with the focus on the MPF of comparatives. Finally, they will be tested again whether they have learned how to use the comparatives, i.e. they do a GW and try to use comparatives by making sentences related to their real life. Class finishes with the teacher running WC FB.
