-Inform ss that they're going to listen to an audio clip and try to guess which photo each phone conversation refers to. -Pause after each conversation and ask for FB. -Give the ss HO and tell them to listen to the audio again and do exer. 1. - After eliciting present progressive tense take one sentence from the text and write the form on the WB. - Ask CCQs to clarify the meaning. When are we cooking? Is it yesterday, tomorrow or now? - Ask them to do exer. 2 and nominate ss for FB.

Stage 2 (Practising TL and listening) (15-17 minutes) • To practise TL and listening for details.

Do the first one as an example with them. - Nominate ss to write the sentences on the board. - Show the ss next HO. Project it on the WB. They will discuss with their partners and make assumptions about the person on the photo. - Play the audio and ask them to answer the question while they're listening. - Have them check with their partners. Nominate ss to FB. - Inform the ss that they're going to listen again to do the next exer. - Have them check with their partners and nominate ss to FB.

Have them do it individually first then check with partners. - Ask ss to come to the board and write the answers. - Show to ss the next HO. Choose a picture and write a conversation on the board. A: Where are you? B: I'm at the airport. A: What are you doing? B: I'm drinking a coffee. - Ask ss to find the picture (3). Instruct them to write a conversation with a picture in mind.
