They need to use the vocabulary they learned in the previous stage. - Nominate ss to FB

Stage 3 (While Listening) (8-10 minutes) • To listen for detail and specific information.

- Explain the ss that they're going to listen to audio text about those places. Tell them that they need to understand which place each speaker talks about and what do they do there. - Pause the audio after each speaker giving them time to take notes. - Nominate ss to establish the places and what activities the speakers did. - Project L exer. 2c from the SB on the WB. I went to one of these places last year. I went to museums and art galleries. I went sightseeing too. I didn't go shopping. Where did I go? (They try to guess) Look at the photos and imagine you went on a holiday to one of them. Write 3 sentences about what you did there. (2 positive and one negative) Don't write the name of the place. - Give them few minutes to finish the task. - After they finish they're going to read their sentences to their partners and try to guess in turn the places they visited. - Have few pairs to FB and talk about their partners choice of place. They need to use the target language (simple past)
