Procedure (28-39 minutes)
ask Ss about the Arabic and Egyptian festivals what are the Arabic and Egyptian festivals that we celebrate? How do you celebrate?
Give students hand-outs have questions to discuss about the Chinese New Year(work in pairs) Have you Ever heard about the Chinese New year? Is it different from the New Year In 1st of January? "Read these questions then discuss the answers with your partner" "Are you going to write?" check answers with the whole class Ask student to watch a video about the Chinese New Year and tell me the secret behind that new year "there is a secret behind this festival" "watch this video carefully then tell me" Read these sentences SB p 34 and tick if it is true or false "Are you going to speak ?"
