Questions with auxiliary verbs
Pre-intermediate level

Description

In this lesson, students start analysing and remembering how to form questions with auxiliary verbs through guided discovery based on a grammar activity about auxiliary verbs. The lesson starts with a grammatical explanation of asking questions. This is followed by controlled practice where students fill in the gaps and free practice where they do group work. Then, students get to pronunciate contractions. Finally, there is some controlled speaking practice through sentence correction and group work, and free practice through discussion on a text related to friendship..
