Newsreader takes a stand
Intermediate level

In this lesson, the students read about a newsreader who refused to read a news item about a celebrity. First, the students are going to skim and scan the article, and then read it for detail. This is followed by a listening activity where the students read for specific information. Finally, there is some free practice via a discussion about the text.
