Main Aims

  • To provide practice of language used for using useful phrases in the context of greetings and giving information and advice

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide fluency speaking practice in a both conversation and debate in the context of design business e-mails, phone calls, giving directions and interview
  • To provide product writing practice of a a conversation ( interveiw) in the context of how to introduce yourself


Warmer/Lead-in (1-7 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I' ill show a video about the value of team work to get the idea of the lesson in a team

Exposure (8-11 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases

I'll design mind map highlighting the main title and sub-title and including the key words. every group will have a task to discuss the main titles according to their experience

listening to different dialogues in different situations (12-18 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

I will give them the opportunities to write the key words about the social situations. I will distribute some quotes about function situations and the students work in pairs. I will receive the conclusion of their ideas

Language Analysis (12-18 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the task language

there is no difficult words. there are only expressions which will be used in a real context

Language Practice (19-26 minutes) • To provide students with practice of the task language

interviews, phone calls, business e-mails, will be in real situations telling and giving information

every one will simulate a functional situation to use all the suitable useful phrases like , phone calls, interview , business, meetings, e-mails and asking about directions
