Make a background by showing pictures and motivate them to involve to speaking about the picture. Fold the text paper and let them to skim it. Ask them Qs about the text. Write new words on the board and ask them to make sentences. Write their pronunciation. Repeat the new words shortly. Return to the text and ask them to read it again but deeply. They should answer the Qs of the text in pairs.
