Description

In this lesson, Ss are going to be introduced to the "conditional type 2". To begin with, the T will start the class with a film to set the context. Then the T will ask a couple of questions to highlight the model sentences. The T intends to use GD to clarify the MFP of the structure. Afterward, the T provides Ss with some controlled and semi-controlled practices. Last but not least, the T will have a freer practice. Finally, the T will work on the Ss' errors.

Procedure

Warmer (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

* The T starts the class with a brief greeting and quickly asks Ss to watch a film about his granny. * The T asks Ss to talk about their perfect days in three minutes. * The T has WCFB

Exposure (7-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through listening

* The T grabs Ss' attention and asks them to watch the film again and answer the Qs - HO 1- INS.: I want you to watch the film again and answer the Qs individually. ICQ: Are you going to do it alone or with your partners? Alone * The T asks Ss to check their answers together. * The T has WCFB.

Clarification (12-15 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the Target Lg.

* The T grabs the Ss' attention and highlights the marker sentence by putting it on the board. * The T intends to have the Guided Discovery approach. * The T provides Ss with the HO2 and asks them to answer the Qs in pairs.
