Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (4-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

write some sentences for Sts to show them the different forms of present simple with singular and plural subjects .

Exposure (8-12 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

ask Sts to write the he , she and it forms of the verbs in the exercise . express have , has as a main verb to explain possession . read the three of the s endings a loud to the class and make sure everyone can hear and notice the difference play the recording and ask Ss to circle the correct symbol . check answers with them

Controlled Practice (4-6 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

let sts drill completing exercise with present simple tense in both singular and plural forms . ask them to work in pairs . play a recording for them to check their answers . ask some pairs to read their answers

controlled practice (3-4 minutes) • to make sure that sts recognize the difference between the three pronunciations of the ending s

ask students to listen and practice recording chants

Free Practice (3-4 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

ask sts to practice more verbs by forming and pronunciation them in present simple test
