Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5-7 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

-The teacher will show the students four pictures and ask the students to match the pictures with the words " book", "film", " restaurant" , and " cafe" - The students answer individually - The teacher ask students to check their answers in pairs - The teacher write the answers on the WB - The teacher review some irregular verbs go, meet, write, have - The teacher write " I ....... the film last night" , " I ......... the book yesterday" - The teacher ask the students to complete the sentences. - The teacher will provide the students with the answers - The teacher will ask the students to repeat after her for any possible pronunciation problem

Exposure (6-8 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

- The teacher will write " we went to ........, we saw .........., it was called ........ ." " I read .........., by ............... , it was called .......... " -The teacher will ask the students to try to complete the sentences individually - The teacher will ask the students to check their answers in pairs. - The teacher will provide the students with answers.

Useful Language (6-8 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

- The teacher will write " we went to a Japanese restaurant on Saturday. The food was quite good, but it was very expensive." on the WB - The teacher will ask the students to repeat the sentence. - The teacher will give the students a hand out with some phrases and ask the students to write four sentences like the model sentence individually. - The teacher will ask the students to check their answers in pairs. - The teacher will provide the students with the answers.

Productive Task(s) (15-17 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

- The teacher will ask the students to think of a book they've read or a film they've seen - The teacher will ask the students to write two adjectives related to that film or book - The teacher will ask the students when did you read that or see that? - The teacher will ask the students to write a sentence like the model sentence about that film or book - The teacher ask the students to read that sentence for their partner - The teacher ask the students to stand up and talk about that film or book with three or four other students

Feedback and Error Correction (6-8 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

- While the students are speaking, the teacher will monitor the students closly and take some notes ofthier mistakes. - The teacher will write some of the common mistakes on the WB - The teacher will elicit the correct answers. - The teacher will provide the students with the answers - The teacher will ask the students to repeat as a whole class activity.
