T shows a video titled "How Do We Know Earth Is Changing?" from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzPUm-Ytpz4 T pauses from time to time to highlight some VOCs in the video narration.
T conveys the meaning of the pre-reading VOC through photos of the book. T shows the photos one by one and elicits the words from the Ss. T writes each word on the board and has the Ss drill. T marks the stressed syllable. T checks the learning by pointing to some random photos of the same page and asking intentionally wrong Qs. e.g. T points to the river, asking "Is it sea? Nods "No" for clarification.
T divides the paragraphs into 4 pieces. T divides the Ss with Numbers. T starts counting the Ss loudly and pointing to them so that they can understand their numbers. T orders the class to sit in 4 groups and hands out the 4 pieces of the reading to each group. T instructs the Ss to read the paragraphs and do exercise 2 on page 14. They have 5 minutes, and T writes the correct answers at the end of the time.
T asks the Ss to sit in pairs and do exercise 3 on page 14. They have 3 minutes, and T gives the correct answers at the end.
T asks the Ss to do exercise 4 on page 15. T explains that they need to choose the correct answer from two options in each item. They have 5 minutes. Ss must check answers with partners. T gives the answers on the WB.
