I will have the Ss talk about 2 questions related to the topic and they will discuss in an Open Class. a) What makes a perfect team? b) What are the qualities for being a good team player?

1. Students will play a match the columns activity in wordwall.net where they will match the name of 3 office employees (Nor, Liza, Nala) with their profile description (Nor is the manager, Liza is the experienced employee, and Nala is the new employee). After that they will do Peer Feedback. Then we will do OCF.

1. Meaning From the coursebook p. 26, I will use 8 phrases that refer to behavoiur and attitude in a team: boost the morale of the team, flexible and open to new ideas, have high expectation, likes being the centre of attention, sit on the fence, the big picture, troublemaker, willing to get the hands dirty. a) Students will have to sort these phrases in a chart (G-slides) and choose to which cloumn they belong to the positve, negative or both meanings. -Then Ss will do Peer Feedback -Then we'll do OCF. b) Ss. will match the columns of each phrase to their corresponding meaning. -Ss will do Peer FB -Then we'll do OCF 2. Form Ss will be given 3 sentences and they have to choose the best option for the prepositions that are found in the sentence. -Ss. will do Peer FB -Then we'll do OCF 1. (In, on, at) the modern world, we should all be willing to work (in, on at) different ways to achieve something. 2. She’s the kind of manager who can make everyone feel good (about, with, of) what they’re doing. 3. She wants people to talk (of, about, with) her all the time. 3. Pronunciation The same 3 sentences that I chose for the Form exercise, Ss will practice sentence stress with them by drilling. The sentences are: 1. In the MOD-ern WORLD, we should ALL be WILL-ing to WORK in DIF-ferent WAYS to a-CHIEVE SOME-thing. 2. She’s the KIND of MAN-a-ger who can MAKE EV-ery-one FEEL GOOD a-bout WHAT they’re DO-ing. 3. She WANTS PEO-ple to TALK about her ALL the TIME.

2. The next activity will be for students to fill in the gaps in Nor, Liza, and Nala's text from the workbook (p.18, Activity 2A). The activity will be given in G-slides (one slide per student). -Ss will do peer FB -Then we will proceed to OCF.

1. Based on workbook page 18, Ss will have to choose 5 questions and finish them (in G-slides). These are the questions: a) Are you fixed in your ways or are you....? b) Do you prefer to work behind the scenes or do you like...? c) Do you tend to take sides in a discussion or do you...? d) Are you good at focusing on details or are you better at...? e) Do your managers stand back and let your team get on with it or do they prefer to..? f) Do you of yourself or do you just do the minimum necessary? g) Do you try to fit in with others or can you be...? h) When things aren't going well, are you the one complaining or do you try to...? 2. They will answer the questions on a piece of paper. 3.Once Ss finish answering their questions they gill be given 5 minutes to speak to each other answering the questions in a personal way. After this stage, Ss will be given feedback of the task and DEC.
