Ask and answer simple questions about days and phone numbers.
Procedure (36-45 minutes)
Ask students: What day is it today? What day is tomorrow? What day was yesterday? How old are you? How many students are in this class?

Ask students How many days are there in a week? Elicit (7) Can you name the days of the week? Which days are the weekend? What day comes after ………? What day comes before ………?ETC Ask CCQs : Does Monday come before Tuesday? (Yes) ETC Is seven bigger than ten? (Numbers) ETC
Exercise 4c Ask students to listen carefully and say the next day or number. Ask ICQs. Do the activity individually, pair check, then whole class feedback.
Exercise 4d Ask students to walk around the class and ask three classmates ‘What’s your phone number? Ask ICQs Monitor and provide help if needed.
