Main Aims

To provide skimming and scanning reading practice using a text about famous airports and their facilities.

Subsidiary Aims

To develop students' vocabulary related to air travel. To improve speaking fluency through pair discussions. To personalize the topic by encouraging learners to discuss travelling experiences

Procedure (45-55 minutes)

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Show pictures of famous airports. Ask: Have you ever travelled by plane? What makes an airport good? Brainstorm ideas on the board.

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

Show only the title Top Airports in the World. Students predict what facilities they might read about.
