Description

In this lesson students will learn about some animals. At first they learn those animals name after that they listen to a conversation based on animals. then they work on conversation by repeat sentence by sentence. Students play some games to learn this lesson better such as puzzles, match some pictures.

Main Aims

To provide clarification of animals words in the context of animals name, animals sound

Subsidiary Aims

To provide detailed listening practice using a text about animals in the context of animals name, animals shape, animals sound

Procedure (31-45 minutes)

stage 1 (6-10 minutes) • Teaching vocabulary

At first show students a picture of one animal then write that animal`s `name on the board and ask them to repeat several times.Then show another picture and do what I do for previouse picture again.

stage 2 (15-20 minutes) • teachnig conversation and work on it

I play the conversation with CD player while the books are close after that students should open their books and look at the conversation while CD player plays the conversation then I ask them to repeat sentence by sentence. After that I ask them to read loud one by one.

Stage 3 (10-15 minutes) • Game for learning vocabulary better

I put the name of the animals on the board and give to students some puzzles that made by animals picture then tell them to match the puzzle and when they finish and puzzle come complete they should find the animals name that is in the puzzle on the board and give it to me. I tell them that anybody do the puzzle and give me with the name of that animal have reward.
