Description

In this lesson, students will practice responding in different social situation to focus on their speaking. They also learn common social phrases and expressions. Next part will be writing, and the difference between "but", "however", although", then practice it together.

  • To provide fluency and accuracy speaking practice in a conversations in the context of everyday situation in society

  • To provide product writing practice of a sentences, texts in the context of family

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (1-20 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Play a game, divide them into 2 different group, tell them to take 2 sides of the class and sit in a circle, bring a paper and ready to answer after consulting with each other(talking to each other) The teacher divide the white board into 2 side, and names GROUP A and GROUP B / Then consider a point for each group after responding very quickly

Test #1 (1-25 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

Practice 2 : They have to complete it by guessing and then check with the audio file ICQs: 1: How many pictures do we have? 2: Are we allowed to write freely? 3: We should write...? the sentences in the box Then check with audio file Practice 3 : Play a role play, pick the students 2by2 in front of the class and practice the dialogues that they have recently write

Teach (1-15 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage
