Description

In this session, students will practice listening for gist and for detail in the context of "your favorite writers." They will also practice speaking throughout the class. First, they will read two questions, and listen to audio 1 for gist. Then they will listen for details to answer 6 questions. After this, they will listen to audio 2 and do the same (listening for gist and then listen for details). In the end, they will practice speaking for fluency in the same context, but expanding to more personal level: talking about their favorite writers and books.
