Procedure (105-120 minutes)
The teacher conducts a whole-class activity where students respond to prompts requiring short answers using pronouns and simple future forms. Students participate actively through quick oral responses. The teacher monitors, reformulates incorrect answers, and reinforces correct pronoun usage.
The teacher reviews previously learned vocabulary related to future plans and events. Students repeat chorally and individually. The teacher elicits short sentences that include both vocabulary and pronouns, providing immediate correction when necessary.
The teacher writes model sentences on the board combining will and going to with subject pronouns, object pronouns, and possessive forms. Through guided questioning, students identify sentence structure and usage. The teacher highlights correct placement of pronouns and briefly reviews differences between forms. Students repeat correct sentences chorally and individually.
Students complete a structured written activity that includes sentence completion, substitution, and transformation tasks focusing on pronouns and future forms. Students work individually while the teacher monitors closely. Whole-class feedback is conducted to reinforce correct answers.
Students work in pairs or small groups to complete a structured speaking task where they discuss future plans and make spontaneous decisions. The activity is guided to ensure repeated use of pronouns and future forms. The teacher monitors, supports students, and notes common errors for feedback.
The teacher provides corrective feedback, addresses common errors, and clarifies remaining doubts.
