To ask the students where they would love to go right now instead of sitting in class. They will provide reasons for their choices. Then, the students will be divided into three groups to answer three questions about the beach. There will be a speaker from each unit to answer the three questions
I will display two pictures of the beach and I wll ask students about them. Then, Iwll ask them about their prediction to the content of the lesson.
I will ask them to list the different things that might spoil a day at the seaside. they can check in pairs. Getting feedback from the whole class.
Ss will be given plenty of time to read the article to find out if the writer mentions any of their suggestions in the prior activity and id so what these things are. Ss check their answers in pairs. Doing WCFB by listening to the Ss' answers.
I will explain the key vocabulary on the board by introducing their meanings, forms and pronunciation.
I will write some words on the board and Ss have to tell me the numbers of their lines in the text. I might write the key words here and get the students elicit their meanings especially if I didn't do it in the prior stage.
Ss will read some true or false sentences, then they will read the text again in details to decide whether these sentences are true or false..They can check with their partners. Then WCFB in which Ss have to justify their answers or give reasons.
Ss have to stand up and look for their favorite type of holiday from the pictures hung on the walls. Each picture or holiday type should have no more than two learners. They work in pairs discussing each other about this type of holiday. then, they can tell the class why they chose this type trying to convince the other to try it.
