T gives a fill-in exercise using demonstratives. Ss work individually, then check in pairs. T monitors and supports. T displays answers and corrects as needed.
T gives instructions: ss stand up and move around the classroom (or go just outside the class). Ss point at different objects near and far and ask/answer using target language: "What is this?" "What is that?" "What are these/those?" Ss respond using plural nouns where possible [e.g., "These are chairs"]. Ss work in pairs. T monitors, notes errors and supports when needed. T conducts delayed feedback [and sometimes on spot when needed] and praises ss.
