In this lesson, the students learn about object pronouns through reading and listening exercises. I will start with introducing new vocabulary and object pronouns leading the students to do listening and reading exercises practising boject pronouns.

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will introduce object pronouns through writing on the board: Romeo loves Julliet. He loves her. ( students ) That's how I am going to elicit object poronouns from the students.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

After introducing object pronouns, I'll hand the students a handout asking them to choose the correct pronouns.they work in pairs. Then ansers are written on the board by students. Another handout is handed to the students to replace nouns with pronouns.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

I say I "love dogs". The students say " We love them,too". I "live with my father". the students say " I live with him, too".

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

John loves Sara. John loves her. The students say "and she loves him,too." John visits with Sarah. The students say "and she visits him,too"....etc.

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

.I hand the students a handout to replace the underlined words with pronouns. They work in groups then check answers on the board. Then I'll hand them another handout to replace the underlined words with pronouns,too.They work individually. then they check answes with partners. Then they check answers on the board.

Semi-Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

The students read the text on page 3. then they change the objects ( nouns with pronouns. After that the students listen to Audio 1.68 for practising object pronouns and pronunciation. Do you like dogs ? Dogs? Yes, I like them. Do you hate dogs ? No, I don't hate them.
