Procedure (36-45 minutes)
Engage students by asking them what they can see in each picture on pages 62 and 63.
T gives them a handout and have them match the words and definition to preteach the words. the teacher puts students in pairs and asks them to read the titles then answer the questions. T tells them not to read the text yet.
In pairs get students to write a list for each situation. T emphasises that they must not read the text yet.
T gives time to read the text and asks then to discuss the questions. T monitors and helps if necessary.
T puts ss in pairs to try to guess the meaning of the words in exercise 4.Go through the answers as a class.
Teacher puts students in pairs and asks them to answer as many questions as they can. then T asks ss to read the text again to check their answers. T monitors and helps if necessary.
T puts students in groups and tells them to discuss the questions in exercise 6. Finaly elicit answers from each group for the questions.
