Warmer/Lead-in (5-10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students.

The teacher has to start his lesson with some questions about the types of music in order to elicit the type" soul music". Teacher has to elicit the words "teenagers" and "talented" from the ss by showing them some pics. Show ss some pictures of talented teenagers and headlines of newspapers about a teenager then help ss to predict what might be the situation. The teacher have to write the ss prediction on the board and use these predictions for another aim or other skills depending on the time i have .

Pre-Reading/ (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible.Reading for gist. Pre-teach vocabulary

Pre teachthe words:a teenager, a musical note, worried, soul music , country side, a bestseller. SS have to the read the text quickly .(skimming) just to get a general idea and understanding. ask ss to turn over their texts. While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-15 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading

The teacher divides the class in two groups A and B.Group A will read the text of Joss and group B will read the text of Christopher. Ss have to read the text carefully and then ask some questions (task 3) to the other group. Then ss will look for answer in the class room or the teacher will show them on the board if there is a problem of class management due to the the number of ss or the position of the tables left from previous sessions.

controlled Speaking (14-16 minutes) • role play

Ask ss to work with their partners who will act as Joss or Christopher. The teacher has to model for them first then they do it themselves. If I have some time left: Ask if one of the ss has a talent (drawing, singing etc ) and give them a chance to perform in the class.

Follow up:productive skills (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

The teacher may ask ss to write a letter or a short paragraph to one of the talented teenagers we have in the lesson.
