pre-Intermediate (B1) level

Description

In this lesson, students are going to learn how to use the past continuous to describe actions that were in progress at a specific time in the past in the context of the students' book reading and the photo. The lesson starts with a question like what were they doing last night. It is followed by a discussion about the student's actions in progress. Then they are guided to discover the meaning, form, and pronunciation of the structure ( was/were +verb-ing) through examples from the coursebook.
