To consolidate grammar and language points assessed in the weekly test through reflective and analytical discussion.
Subsidiary Aims

To identify and understand common error patterns.

To develop metalinguistic awareness (explaining why something is correct/incorrect).

To encourage peer correction and collaborative reasoning.

To reinforce confidence and improvement mindset.
Procedure (49-60 minutes)
Students discuss in pairs: -What part of the test was most challenging? -What part felt easier than expected? -Did you feel confident while answering? Then brief whole-class sharing. Keep tone neutral and reflective.
Teacher mentions where the group did well in, and where it needs to improve. Mention patterns such as: -Connector misuse -Modal verb confusion -Verb tense consistency -Sentence structure errors
Read sentences from the test, especially the ones that caused problems. Write them on the board (with errors included if possible). Students find the mistake Correct it Explain WHY it's wrong Discuss as a class. Push reasoning, not just correction.
The teacher highlights general progress and effort. Mention common improvements seen in the exams. Encourage students for the next week.
