Wild Animals and Their Body Parts
A1 level

Description

In this lesson students learn about jungle animals and their features through visual and audial aids. Sts will be given oppurtunity to practice the previous sturucture "have got" and produce the new language through making descriptive sentences. First, sts will watch a video of man who is drawing a jungle scene and try to predict the things in the drawing. Then they will listen to some animal sounds and try to name the animal. They will be aided by visuals. Through repetion and drilling the language will be practiced. After that, students will walk to find the animal pictures sticked around the room and list the features below. At the end they will be given a board game template. They will choose small pictures from a given range and stick them on in order to produce their own boards. In the game they should throw a dice and move. If they land on a picture they should decide on the feature and say their sentence and if they land on a question mark they will take the top card from the pile which is a body part this time and think of a appropriate animal to make a sentence.
