Procedure (32-38 minutes)
To set the context by writing the target vocabulary on the board
Context checking questions: Assign a task with questions using key vocabulary Elicit or give simple definitions and examples
After completing the reading task, the teacher invites students to report back on how they approached the task and how it went. Students share their answers. The teacher facilitates the discussion, provides feedback, clarifies misunderstandings.
The teacher clarifies the meaning of each word and checks students’ understanding through a multiple choice questions task
