Description

In this lesson, students will learn and practice key vocabulary and expressions commonly used in remote work settings. Through interactive activities such as matching exercises, role-plays, and discussions, students will become familiar with terms like commute, remote work, hybrid model, virtual meeting. By the end of the session, students will be able to confidently recognize, understand, and use remote work vocabulary in context.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

To set the context by writing the target vocabulary on the board

Task (8-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target vocabulary

Context checking questions: Assign a task with questions using key vocabulary Elicit or give simple definitions and examples

Report (6-8 minutes) • To allow students to report on how they did the task and how it went

After completing the reading task, the teacher invites students to report back on how they approached the task and how it went. Students share their answers. The teacher facilitates the discussion, provides feedback, clarifies misunderstandings.

Language Analysis (10-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the new vocabulary

The teacher clarifies the meaning of each word and checks students’ understanding through a multiple choice questions task

Language Practice (5-5 minutes) • To provide students with practice of the task language

Provide a task to link the vocabulary to the proper meaning
