Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (2-4 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T will ask S if they have gone on vacation and ask them to share their experience Questions to ask. Have you ever been on vacation? What did you do? Where did you go? If the S hasn't gone on vacation T will share a small story about his vacation asking CCQs to keep the S engaged

Exposure (4-5 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

S will read an email a friend send them telling them about their last vacation, in this email the 12 vocabulary words to review will be present. Train Station City Center Book Museum Park Shopping Souvenir Tour Guide Bus tour Flight Street Market Monument

Controlled Practice (4-5 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Using flash cards T will show meaning and drill the pronunciation of the 12 words. OCFB will be given

Free Practice (4-5 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

In pairs Students will talk about their past vacations using the vocab they review. T will monitor and provide OCFB at the end
