Tell students that they can pick their favorite film, a recent film they have seen, or a film that they don't like to review. Students have 30 seconds to decide which film they are going to review. Students go to Google Document where there are notes to help students our from what we've covered today including Alien review, three parts of review, starter sentences. Students have eight minutes (or 10 depending on the time.) Then the students will use a checklist (last page in Google Docs) to check their partner's review in breakout rooms. (8 minutes.)
I will have visited each breakout room writing errors that I hear. I can also look at the students' work and see what errors I can fix in DEC.
