This lesson sets a general context of Clothes and Fashion to provide Ss with exposure to the lexis of clothes. The context is supported by Ss listening to an audio about clothes. They practice their listening skills and reflect on their own clothes in a speaking environment.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through an Image of Clothes and Fashion

Ex.1 1-Project Image on WB and explain activity to match Clothes to Image. 3mins 2-Project Image on WB and elicit Clothes......Write/display Clothes > Pronounce + Stress + Drill 5mins 3-Ask Ss to test eachother in pairs - Previous Exercise on Clothes - (Monitor Practice) 2mins

Highlighting & Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language by drawing attention to the context Clothes and Fashion

Ex.2-Adaptation: 1-Elicit colours by showing differnt coloured shapes. 2mins 2-Highlight names of the colours on WB > Practice + Prompt + Stress + Drill 3-4mins Ex.3-Adaptation: 1-Go back to Context Image - Ask: 3-4mins What colours are Lisa's boots? What color is Brad's T-shit?

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Ex.4 - R6.14 Listening 1-Play the above audio track + Project Context Image on WB - Pause audio and Ask: 4-5mins What is the name of this person? or Who is this person? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2- Gap Fill - Listening to same Audio + HO - Find Missing Words on HO text matching the Audio. (Listen & Write Words in Gaps) 4-5mins

Semi-Controlled Practice (3-3 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

Ex.5 Using the Vocab: Write what you are wearing but No Names > Give HO to write on for 3 Items - 3mins Project on WB - I am wearing .............

Free Practice (3-4 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
