Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5-7 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Let's draw a little. Prepare a pen and a paper. At first I'll tell you some words: cloud river mountain man sun woman tree snake car dog house. Write them down. Now draw a picture with all this. Describe to me so I could draw the same. Then we'll compare

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Now we're going to talk about at on in. Put them in the gaps.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Fill in the chart listen and repeat

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Semi-Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

Discuss the questions.

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

"My Perfect Day” Story Chain How it works: Start a story: "On Monday morning, I wake up at 7 AM in my bedroom..." The student continues the story with the next activity, using at/on/in correctly (e.g., "Then I eat breakfast at 7:30 in the kitchen..."). Take turns adding 1–2 sentences each until you complete a "perfect day."
