To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of time and daily life routine language
To provide product writing practice of a question writing in the context of time and daily routines
To provide practice of Present Simple tense positive and negative in the context of time and daily life routine language
Procedure (31-43 minutes)
FB as a video clip will be shown on WB. Teacher is going to play a song about daily routine for SS, which was taught the day before and ask them to listen to it carefully. Before passing HOs, teacher will use ICQs to be sure if they understood exactly what to do or not. e.g. Are we going to only listen? Yes e.g. Are we going to sing with the song? Yes Then, lyrix will be passed among SS to sing with the song correctly. Then, SS are going to ask each other about their daily routine and time based on the activities in the song.
Teacher is going to ask SS to get into pairs. SS will be devided into two groups of A and B. Then, HOs will be passed among SS and teacher will give them the instruction. SS A should ask questions from SS B and SS B should answer them by looking at the pictures in their hand and vice versa. Before passing HOs, teacher will use ICQs to be sure if SS understood or not. e.g. Are we going to work in pair? Yes e.g. Are we going to listen to an audio? No After that SS A or B should change their partners to check the answers. SS is going to practice prepositions of time and Does questions in this exercise.
SS are going to get into new pairs to ask their partners about their best friends gendre and name. HOs will be passed among SS.Then, they have to write five questions with "does" from the given words and pictures individually. Before passing HOs the teacher will use some ICQs to be sure about SS to do the activity right. e.g. Are we going to work in groups? No e.g. Are we going to write questions? Yes e.g. How many questions are we going to write? 5 After they prepared questions, they are going to ask them from their partners. Then, some of SS are going to tell the WC about their partners best friend's activities.
SS are going to play a game to gues about the written notes on each other's forehead. On each note there is an activity and time. Every student should describe the written word by his/her gesture without saying anything. Some ICQs are going to be asked in order to be sure about SS's understanding about the game. e.g. Are we going to say the word? No e.g. Are we going to play/show the word? Yes
