Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

the class started by a talk about my wrong message to my boss. i was texting my friend suddenly my mom called me and i sent the wrong message to my boss. after that i want to ask them if they have same experiences or not? and what was the reaction?

Highlighting (2-3 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

i will write mine and their sentences on the board and point to the grammars in those sentences. i will write their sentences with the past continue s grammar.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

i will write the formula of those sentences by asking their help and i will talk about how it changes by different subjects and how we can change it to negative and question form. sub+was/were+verb+ing+when/that/suddenly+sub+verb(past form)+..... then im going to draw time line and i will ask CCQs: 1. which action started at the first? which on started then? texting-called 2. did my mom call me before the texting or during the texting? during 3. which action interrupted the other? called by my mom 4. was i still texting to my friend when my mom called me? yes

Controlled Practice (10-12 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

i will ask them to do gap filling task on page 129 part 2B in 4 minutes and then they will check their answers in pairs in 2 minutes and then we will check all the answers with whole class.

Free Practice (10-13 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

the students are going to make groups of 3 or 4 of them and i want them to choose one of their favorite photos in their phones then talk about that photoes what were they doing during that time and what happened then.
