Description

In this session, students will hear a story about a lazy boy who became successful and they will learn some new vacabulary and learn how to listen an audio and answer questions.

Materials

Abc power-point and board
Abc power-point with projector
Abc Their own phones with pictures i sent before.

Main Aims

  • To provide gist, specific information, detailed, deduction and inference

Procedure

Lead in • Get students interested and prepare them for the topic

Show students the pic and ask them to read the topic and describe the pictures.

Pre-listening • Activate backgroubd knowledge

Ask them to do the match exercise, check in pairs and check it with the group. Ask them the ccq questions.

First listening

Play the audio for the first time and ask students to guess the main idea.

Second-listening • Looking for details

Ask them to listen again to the audio, take some key words and notes and answear the questions. And check in pairs, than class and give them feedback.

Post-listening • Extend the topic into speaking

Ask them to answer the 3 questions about their own lifes.

Feedback • Share errors

Give them feedback and check their error corrections
