Description

This is a PPP lesson designed for intermediate students to learn some vocabularies and to practice. Students will learn to use some emotional vocabularies based on a story correctly and confidently. This encourages fluency in students speaking tasks.

Materials

Abc power-point and board
Abc power-point with projector
Abc Their own phones with pictures i sent before.

Main Aims

  • To provide practice and clarification

Subsidiary Aims

  • Students will be able to talk about their past experience using the vocabulari related to that situation.
  • Students will improve fluency in speaking about personal experiences.
  • Students will learn and practice vocabulary related to past events.

Procedure

Lead in • Activate background knowledge, get students thinking about past experiences, warm up speaking.

Ask students guess the topic from the first page of the power-point. Ask them: "Do you think taking responsibility is difficult? why or why not?" let them speak to class about it. Ask them: do you remember a time you had an important task at work or school? how did it make you feel?

Presentation • Students will read a text and notice about some important vocabularies.

Ask them to read the short story quickly. show them the first sentence and teach the vocab. the second, third and the last one.

Practice • How much the learner can use something he learned.

Ask them to do the practice: fill the gaps check in pairs chech with the class and feedback Do not forget ccqs and icqs. ask them to do the second practice.

Production • Personalize the topic for leraner and make them use in their own way.

adk them to choose one of the activity/role-play and do it in the class. ask them to match the pictures with the vocabulary the learned.
