Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I am visiting my friend after class. I will draw a timeline on the board and ask: Does it happen in the past, present, or future? What is the role of the first word? Subject. What comes after the subject? In what form? Ing. We can use the present continuous for future plans. For plans that are sure to happen. Plans that we made at a fixed time. I am seeing a friend. = I am going to see a friend.
