To provide clarification of superlative adjectives in the context of some features of cities in Iran. Fx, Yazd is the driest city in Iran.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide practice of to use superlative adjectives in the context of in speaking and listening.
Procedure (25-38 minutes)
The lesson starts by the teacher who asks some questions about the students, for example, who is the tallest in the class? and who is the youngest student in the class?
This part starts by the teacher who explains part B of practices of the book, which is about some superlative adjectives such as The biggest and the longest. And the teacher solves one of the questions as sample for the students. Then students answer those questions.
In this part, part d of the book has the table with some blanks which are filled by students, although the teacher explains how to fill it and draw it on the board and answers one of them.
in this part starts, the teacher shows the map of Iran, and asks some questions about cities in the map, then writes sentences with the superlative adjectives on the board. This point is important that the teacher can say some points about consonant and vowel sounds before teaching the superlative adjectives.
In this part, the teachers says that students solve questions which are at the end of the book, peer check, as well as, the teacher solves the first question as a sample before the students do them, and the teacher check them.
in part of H of the book (section grammar), first of all, the teacher explains that part and do one questions, then the teacher groups the students for using the grammar in their sentences.
