We are talking about best friends in this lesson. We will talk about some details and some information about their life, their family, their favorites and their school. Also, we are talking about their dreams in the future. each student should talk about his best friend and give us information about him or her.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

At the beginning of the lesson, I will show them a picture of two friends and ask them who are these persons. They will guess who are these persons and elicit the word friends. I will tell them information about this friend and some details that they can help them to use to form sentences. I will ask them to do this task in PW or GW.

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

I will write additional details and information about this friend. I will write about his favorites, his life, his family, and his school. They will tell me about these details and try to guess the what these details refer to. I will some important vocabulary in the text and I will clarify them as they are the marker vocabulary in the text. I ask them to elicit the meaning and understand them before reading the text.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

I will set some questions about the age of the friend , her boyfriend,and her sisters and her brother. I will ask about her father's job and ask about her favorite football team. I will ask them to scan the passage to find answers for these questions. I will ask Ss to do this task in Pw to help each other.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

In this stage, we will read the passage in details and ask them about detailed information. I will ask them about the friend's favorite hobby, her mother's job,the place of her university, and her brother and sister's names. I will ask CCQs to check if they understand the meaning for the lesson well or not.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

We will answer the exercises on Pg 29 multi choices questions, We will listen to 4 .11 to know who these characters are, and I will ask them to write a short paragraph about his best friend according to information will guide him.
