Description

this lesson start with a question.i will ask to student to look at the picture on page 96 part[a] then I ask what do you think they are talking about?I will chose valenteers to answer it.in next stage the students will be informed about the meaning of the following vocabularies used in the text . they will do a practice to make sure that they have learned the meaning of the vocabularies.in next step students will listen to a track then will answer the question about that.I will chose some students to ask them about the track after that we will check with the whole class.I will play the audio again and I will ask to students to answer 4 multiple choice questions. they will have two minute then Iwill pick up them to answer at the end will check with whole classI will continue the class with listening to a another one track and they will answer the queation. the last part is a discus around a topic that is the same .I will contribute student to share their experiences.

  • To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of meeting

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

student will be asked to look at the picture on page 96 in American English File 2 and aswer to this question : what do you think they are talking about? i will want them to guess what is the conversation about? then they will share their ideas with whole class. if they need support i will do that.

Pre-/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

students will be informed about the meaning of some vocabularies that are related to the lesson.I prepar a practice to make sure that they have learned the meaning of vocabularies.they have two minute to complate it then we will cheak with whole class.I will teach them with picturies or explanation

While-Listening #1 (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

students will be asked two questions that are related to a conversation then students will listen to a track. I will monitor them if they are mistaken.I will help them to reach correct answer.

While-Listening #2 (5-10 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

i will ask to students four multiple choice questions.Iwill play the audio again. they will have two minute then i will pick up them to answer at the end we will check with whole class.

Post-/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

I will continue the class with listening to a new track and they will answer the question.we will discus around a topic that is the same.I will contribute students to share their experiences that are related to topic.
